The past year I've been busy working at a new game studio, doing tools development on an annual franchise. I gotta say, it's been pretty nice, doing work that feels more relevant to where I wanted to be in my career. I still have a ways to go, but for now, I'm satisfied with having a full-time position again, without the constant fear of a contract suddenly ending.
Once again, I am doing Advent of Code. I feel like it snuck up on me, but I'm doing them alright so far. It feels good to do it like this again!
Even better, I added syntax highlighting to the site, thanks to a library called Prism. Right now it's only on the Advent of Code pages, as that's all I really want it for anyway, and I don't want to pollute my pages with excessive javascript. It would be nice to have a compile-time highlighter, as I would prefer just having the page ready for that when all of the other pages are built. Maybe I'll look for something that does that in the future.
Anyway, check out the highlighting!
